As part of a small local team of Sales Managers, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth with agency partners and identifying new business opportunities through a solution sales approach. You will be managing a number of large, complex key accounts within a Tier 1 agency portfolio, leveraging customer relationships to ensure maximum profitability. Your superior relationship management skills shall ensure excellent service delivery leading to client satisfaction, retention and growth via digital media solutions using video, podcasts, written content, data solutions & events.

Key Result Areas:

  • Ensure revenue targets are met and hopefully exceeded each month, quarter & year; including personal targets, team targets and site targets
  • Manage large, complex key accounts within the Agency sales team
  • Develop network, continually build strong relationships and take a pro-active approach with new & existing clients, with the purpose of creating new revenue opportunities
  • Proactively drive new, high yielding business & grow your client list
  • Business development (through emails, cold calling, networking, existing relationships, agency meetings) to win advertising bookings from clients
  • Implement strategic planning to increase market share & identify new short, medium & long term revenue opportunities
  • Keep strong communication lines open with your Sales Director, ensuring KPI’s are met, accurate forecasting delivered and pipelines maintained.
  • Attend industry events where required

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally you will have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A proven ability to exceed sales targets and meet budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level understanding of digital platforms
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines
  • The capacity to build genuine rapport and foster client relationships
  • A collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment and can also work autonomously to meet set targets
